Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Bambi II
A must for us Disney movie fans and a true enjoyment to watch and share as a family. An escape from the stress and tensions of everyday life and to spend wind-down time with your family.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Best Disney Video Sequel
An actual video sequel that was fun to watch with my four year old. Animation was much better than many Disney DVD selections of the past.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A great movie
I watched this movie with my 4 year old niece who lost her mother and is now being raised by her father. I found this to be a really sweet way to deal with the grief of losing your mother at a young age. Not only did I enjoy it but she really seemed to also. We would recommend this movie to anyone but especially to someone who has lost a parent.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A prince of a movie
Disney can still create movies without as much politically correct hoopla.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - a successful midquel
I was surprised that *Bambi II* turned out better than I had expected. It was a good "midquel". In fact, this was probably the first midquel I had even heard/seen.

*Bambi II* takes place right after the scary moment when Bambi gets himself in trouble. His mother was able to get him out of the situation. Scared and confused, Bambi takes off in a run. After a while, Bambi looks back and calls out for his mother repeatedly. Soon, his father, the Great Prince, informs him that his mother will no longer be coming back.

The Great Prince must look after Bambi. However, the Great Prince doesn't feel that it is fitting for him to raise Bambi. He consults the wise owl to seek a surrogate mother.

Bambi is lanky and naive. However, with the help of his friends, Thumper and Flower, he develops some of his skills and self-confidence. He does this to impress his father. The Great Prince can't help but notice and adore his son.

*Bambi II* is a wonderful movie. The best part for me was seeing everyone scaring off each other with "grr!". The "grr!" was started by Bambi and his 2 friends. Just simply adorable!

As always, this Disney film is filled with menacing characters. The characters put Bambi to the test to see if he'll be the next Great Prince. Rest assured that there are more good than bad...such as romance...well, at least, some flirting and blushing.

Simply an enjoyable movie that Disney does best.

All About N-Gage have the dirt on a game that looks like it has a lot of potential: Asphalt: Urban GT.  I can't say that I've played much more than some FIFA and other random stuff on the N-Gage, but a good racer can add a lot of value to a gaming platform.  Of course I'm still waiting to see if Call of Duty rocks as much as it should.

Ted Shelton: "Frankly I felt that BlogOn was a waste of time and money."

I think the BlogOn conference was overproduced. In the name of professionalism the organizing firm turned off potential speakers, oversubscribed sponsors, etc.

I would have liked a debatable topic (aside from *blogging = journalism*. Two people slugging it out. Or a devil's advocate taking challenges from the floor.

I would have liked more hard numbers. Facts. Charts. Diagrams. We have the analytic tools to BS-check them; harder on vague opinions and single-points-of-observation.

I found it disturbing how much money was being commanded (from both attendees and sponsors) for a conference at a university. Maybe it was because it was at Berkeley? Maybe we should have taken over a community college or a Cal State or a DeVry. The facilities costs would have been cheaper at least. I heard an organizer apologize and say the next one would be at a hotel, like that would have been better.

Cost wasn't the whole problem. We're at a stage where early adopters are meeting folks who want to leap the chasm. Huge gaps in knowledge, experience, context, culture, vocabulary. It's the gap.

There are huge ideas to be explored, even in the world of applying blogs to media strategy and the enterprise. And most of the big ideas weren't even on the agenda at BlogOn. Probably because it was catering to those who want to commercialize, fund, and otherwise exploit (excuse me, "get in on") the emerging medium.

Let's fork these conferences so advanced topics on business and technology and culture fit the participants.
