Rating: - Good Cast-Interesting Movie
Reign of Fire brings to the screen the unlikely scenario that ash-eating dragons will take over the world and humanity will become near extinct as a result.
It is the year 2020 and an isolated community in England trying to survive in the dragon dominated world is visited by an American military force bound on bringing an end to the reign of reptiles...
Don't look for the movie to make any sense; it doesn't.
Christian Bale, Matthew McConaughey, Gerard Butler, Alexander Siddig (from Star Trek DS9!), the lovely Izabella Scorupco, and the rest of the cast carry out their performances well though the acting is nothing extraordinary.
The setting, the plot, the dialogues, the special effects, and the music are all good.
In a nutshell, it's probably not a movie you would want to add to your collection, but it will provide for an evening's entertainment. 3.5 Stars
Rating: - Good movie, simple plot.

Rating: - I LIKE>>>>
This movie was totally missed at the movies or something.....I watch it alot. The special effects are great. The story line is great, the men are handsome and there is a bit of a love thing going on too. Matthew MCConaughay was almost unrecongnizable ! I would have like the plot to be developed out a bit more. I wanted the movie to be longer. But its a cool concept and definately not cheezy CGI. I like !
Rating: - GREAT MOVIE, GOOD HD TRANSFER
If your into sci fi movies this is a good one! a very good hd transfer of audio and video to blu ray, overall a worthwhile addition to your hd collection
Rating: - Reign reigns !
Truly an awesome disc with numerous short flix included and what with the voiceover you can spend 8 hours on this disc alone without getting bored. The dragons in BR are phenomenal to witness, as real as it gets. Considering how little BR discs actually cost for what you get this disc is a tremendous bargain and how excellent to see such a high quality dragon flic anyway. It's also great to see Gerard Butler before 300 fame in a scene-stealing cameo part. Bale is balefully brave and Matthew M is fantastic as the rogue marine dragon killer. He's never been better. All in all well worth every penny !
The proposed acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe is not a done deal. Both companies are under the scrutiny of the SEC, and it must also be approved by stockholders.
While Macromedia/Adobe gives this process three to nine months, some industry analysts feel that is being overly optimistic.
But assuming that all is goes as planned, Macromedia will cease to exist. Everything will be in the Adobe name and with the Adobe interface.
