Editorial Review:

Description Explore the mysterious Amazon through the amazing IMAX (R) experience and celebrate the beauty, vitality and wonder of this magical rain forest, which is disappearing at an alarming rate. Filmmakers overcame many difficulties to photograph this rarely seen tropical landscape and present it with all the visual power associated with IMAX. Narrated by Academy Award-winning actress Linda Hunt, this unique collaboration between an American scientist and a tribal shaman on a mission to find rare medicinal plants will amaze and astound you. Disc 2 includes the complete feature in Microsoft Windows Media High Definition, playable on your PC.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Perfect
Thanks for yours..

This dvd is perfect..WmvHd format is perfect..

Best regards

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Disappointing
The cinematography and research were superb, but I was hoping for a more indepth overview. I overlooked the fact that this film is only 39 minutes, so I guess that's my fault. I enjoy documentaries on nature and world culture, so I was looking for a more informative piece. The backdrop for this film is definitely a scenic beauty, especially for those with large high definition televisons. To those looking for interesting facts and insight into secret worlds, this is not the video for which you're looking. It does please the eye and I'm sure was awesome in an IMAX theatre.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - can't get license for WMVHD
It's a good thing that this comes with 2 DVDs. The Amazon WMVHD disc wouldn't work since it would not get a license, so I watched the standard DVD format from the 2nd disc. I also bought the Coral Reef Adventure discs, and had no license problems with that WMVHD disc.
-------------------------
Update: If autoplay is used, then it works fine (no problems with the license). I keep autoplay disabled because of Sony's rootkit on some of their CDs. A work-around is to go to My Computer, right-click on your DVD drive, then choose 'Autoplay' to start the movie.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great picture quality
It's a great to have HD content even before the HD-DVD or Blue Ray discs start shipping. Picture and sound quality are great. The documentary itself was a bit slow (if not borring) to me.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - too short
the music is good, the film is very interesting with both animals and peoples but we don't see enough animals in the deep
jungle,
the high definition is very succesful with wonderful colors but it could have been used more for our pleasure

MPs pressure banks to pass on 1% cut in interest rates to customers as HBOS offers only 0.25%.

Let me ask the basic question that everybody somehow asks himself Isnt there any other solution to persistence problem simpler and more powerful?

When Microsoft released an emergency patch for a critical Windows bug six weeks ago, it warned that attacks were in progress and told users to patch immediately. They were nonchalant about the warning.

I have uploaded Jaxen 1.1.2, an open source XPath 1.0 engine written in Java that supports multiple object models including DOM, XOM, JDOM, and dom4j. It is also flexible enough to be adapted to XML views of non-XML data structures. For instance, PMD uses it to enable XPath expressions to query compiled Java byte code. Version 1.1.2 is believed to be fully conformant with the XPath 1.0 specification, modulo undiscovered bugs. This release fixes assorted a couple of significant bugs that incorrectly evaluated some XPath expressions. You should upgrade when you get a chance. Jaxen is published under a modified BSD license.
