Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - EErie-ahead of its time.
This movie presents a subject matter that was ahead of its time. The subject of cloning when this picture was made was science fiction. It presents with a strange feeling that it might be possible that it can occur. I wanted to see this movie again, since I remembered seeing it way back in the 80's and the strange effect it had on me at the time. The fact that one of of lead characters, Sir Laurence, was quite ill at the time in real life, brings out the truely great performance of this actor. The BOYS and their piercing blue eyes leaves a lasting impression
of the movie.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - boys from brasil
this movie was a fiction ar his time !!!! reality is worst than fiction today !!!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Alright
The plot was decent but the fact the fact it is an old movie didnt help it too well.It was very slow for the first long while but it did show how wicked and ruthless the jews are.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - great performance
This movie,Boys From Brazil,is a suspense movie, that includes the best performance by Gregory Peck And Lawrence Olivier.

About when things go wrong with genetic experimentation.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - GREAT PRODUCTION VALUES TRIUMPH OVER MATERIAL
I don't deny the cheese factor here. What this is is a successful attempt by superb talents to make a delicious fondue of a film out of this trash novel. Olivier is marvellous as always from his accent to his look, timing, etc.. Peck seized the chance to play a real baddie with real gusto. (I think Jerry Goldsmith's score helps him and the whole film by underscoring the creepy menace and the violence that follows.) The rest of the cast are all memorable from other films, some from the 1940's such as Lilli Palmer from Body and Soul, as well as Denholm Elliot, John Dehner, and Uta Hagen - the road company Blanche Dubois! The locations and sets convey a generous budget and attention to detail that you just don't get most of the time in movies of this sort.

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?

The ancient climate change on Mars was caused by regular variation in the planet's tilt, or obliquity, according to new research. On Earth, similar "astronomical forcing" of climate drives ice-age cycles.
