Editorial Review:

Amazon.comDisney's 1977 The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh may be the last word on (animated) Pooh because it so faithfully honors the first word on Pooh, penned in the 1920s by British storyteller A.A. Milne. Gently paced, subtly humorous, and blessedly understated, this adaptation reflects Walt Disney's original vision to develop the beloved British bear for a wider audience. The film is essentially a collection of the original Pooh shorts, 'The Honey Tree,' 'The Blustery Day,' and 'Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too.' These storybooks are presented in seamless 'chapters,' narrated by the timeless Sebastian Cabot. The familiar musical score and original voices of Sterling Holloway as Pooh, and Paul Winchell as Tigger, cap this enchanting keepsake. (Ages 2 and up). --Lynn Gibson

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Classic
I loved this show ever since I was a little kid, so I thought I'd keep the memories alive by buying this set on DVD.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Just Like I Remember It
I always loved Winnie the Pooh as a child, so I ordered this DVD for my 2-year old daughter. It was just as fantastic as I remembered it, and my daughter instantly fell in love with it! Before Dora the Explorer (20 min) was the only show she would sit through (not necessarily a bad thing!), but she sat through this entire DVD (1+ hour) on the very first sitting.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Grandson's Favorite
My two-year old grandson just wants to watch "Pooh" whenever he comes over. He has portions memorized and loves to say, "Oh Bother!" This is actually my second dvd of this - we wore the first one out.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Winnie the Pooh
Almost impossible to find in retail stores around here. With a new grandchild it is a welcome addition to my video library.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - classic
This is a classic that won the heart of my son.. it is something I saw as a child but my husbad did not, he really enjoys it also. I highly reccommend it to someone who is rearing a son as the good character and role model for boys to see.

The proposed acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe is not a done deal. Both companies are under the scrutiny of the SEC, and it must also be approved by stockholders. While Macromedia/Adobe gives this process three to nine months, some industry analysts feel that is being overly optimistic. But assuming that all is goes as planned, Macromedia will cease to exist. Everything will be in the Adobe name and with the Adobe interface.
